Eagles Take Seventh at CCSU Mini Meet

New Britain, CONN. – The Boston College women's cross country team finished in seventh place overall with 198 points at the 15^th annual CCSU Mini Meet on Friday. The Eagles competed against 21 teams in the 3K run at Stanley Quarter Park.

Sophomore Chloe Hautiere was the first Eagle to cross the line and she took 15^th place in a field of 138 runners.

Three Eagles broke 11 minutes on the 3K Stanley Park Course.

BC Highlights

Hautiere crossed the line first for the Eagles at 10:38.6. She earned 15^th place overall.
Junior Sarah Marvin ran the 3K in 10:55.2 for 35^th place.
Freshman Katherine Deloreto was right behind Marvin in 36^th place with a time of 10:55.4.
Senior Madeline Adams finished in 52^nd place at 11:02.8. Freshman Jillian Howard was close behind to round out the scoring for the Eagles at 60^th place and crossed the line at 11:09.3.
Junior Tia Patterson and sophomore Mary Kate Vaughn finished in 80^th and 89^th place, respectively. Patterson finished the 3K in 11:18.3 and Vaughn ran 11:28.0.

Race Highlights

New Hampshire won the meet with 45 points.
Shannon Murdock of New Hampshire was the top individual finisher, crossing the line in 10:08.6.
