Weekly Countdown: Five Things to Know About BC Softball

Chestnut Hill, Mass. – Boston College softball practice doesn't resume until Jan. 14, but it's not too early to count down the days until the season begins.

There's plenty to know about the Eagles that's not visible on the field. With five weeks until the season opener, sophomore Allyson Moore and juniors Jessica Dreswick and Annie Murphy narrowed it down to five facts:

1. "Our team's favorite show is Law & Order: SVU."

2. "If you ever need your makeup done, just ask BC softball because we could start our own makeup channel on YouTube."
Â
3. "We have dance battles before every game even though 90 percent of our team can't dance." They called sophomore Lexi DiEmmanuele and Olivia Markopoulos the team's best dancers. But they said sophomore Carly Severini and juniors Jordan Chimento and Chloe Sharabba could stand to work on their moves.

4. "We all got in an elevator together going to 'Escape the Room' and the Boston Fire Department had to get us out."

5. "Sassy chicken is our favorite meal in the dining hall."
