Dair, Borr Earn Top 10 Rankings in the Northeast

Dair ranks fourth in the region

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Junior Asiya Dair will start the dual season as the Northeast's No. 4 player, according to the Oracle/ITA Division I Regional Rankings. Additionally, senior Lexi Borr is ranked eighth in the Northeast.

Dair, who is ranked 103rd in the national rankings, went 12-6 in dual singles play last spring and earned third-team All-ACC honors. In the fall, Dair went 5-0 at the Bulldog Invitational, finished 5-1 at the Harvard Fall Classic and advanced to the ITA Northeast Regional quarterfinals.

Borr went 4-1 at the Bulldog Invitational and made the ITA Northeast Regional quarterfinals. She finished 10-13 in dual singles play last spring, including a 7-8 clip in first singles, while earning third-team All-ACC honors.

In last spring's Northeast preseason rankings, Dair ranked 17th while Borr placed ninth. The Eagles will begin dual play and begin their ACC slate Jan. 21 at No. 23 Virginia.
