Keeley Chosen as Assistant Coach

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Volleyball head coach Chris Campbell announced on Tuesday the hiring of Allison Keeley as an assistant coach. Keeley comes to the Heights with nearly 25 years of coaching experience at various levels, including NCAA Division I.
"I am thrilled to be adding a coach of Allison's character and experience to my staff at BC. She will be able to contribution to the program in a wide variety of ways as we continue our progression of improvement in the ACC,'' said Campbell of Keeley joining the program.
A standout volleyball and track athlete at Carleton, Keeley played professionally from 1991-97 in both the USA Volleyball Women's Open Division and Women's Open Beach Volleyball.
Keeley's collegiate coaching career began as an assistant coach at her alma mater Carleton College in 1995. A year later she was named the head coach at Chaffey College in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. In 1998, Keeley moved to Southern Arkansas University for two seasons, before being named the head coach at Villanova in 2001. She took the Wildcats from last to fourth place in the Big East.
A native of Nebraska, Keeley was the head coach at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas from 2004-10. In 2007, Keeley guided the Rebels to their first and only NCAA tournament appearance, as well as the MWC championship, achieving an RPI of 19 during that season. Keeley earned MWC Coach of the Year honors in 2007, as well as AVC Regional Coach of the Year.
Keeley took a two-year hiatus from coaching before returning to East Stroudsburg University as the head coach from 2012-2016. There, Keeley turned the program around, taking over a team with a 4-23 record before eventually achieving a top 25 regional RPI in 2016.
