Pair of Freshmen Earn Victories In Loss to Brown

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – A pair of freshmen earned singles victories for the Boston College men's tennis team in the Eagles' 5-2 road loss to Brown.

Freshman Alexander Chieffalo moved to 2-0 in singles play for the dual season with a straight-set 6-2, 6-1 victory in fifth singles against Brown's Anthony Arocho.

Freshman Sean Mullins claimed his first-career dual season win with a 6-3, 2-6, 6-1 victory against Brown's Peter Litsky in third singles.

Junior Kent Mukai rallied for BC (0-2) in fourth singles, forcing a third set. However, Jacob Walker ultimately took the 6-3, 4-6, 6-2 victory for Brown (2-2).

BC continues action against Georgetown at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Flynn Recreation Complex.
