- Sophomore Mariella Fasoula led the Eagles with 22 points and seven rebounds.
- Senior Kelly Hughes posted 15 points, including three three-pointers.
- Freshman Emma Guy chipped in 11 points and shot 4-for-4 off the bench.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- After Mariella Fasoula scored BC's first six points, Kelly Hughes converted a three-pointer to give the Eagles a 9-6 lead with 5:16 left in the first quarter.
- Antonia Peresson made two three-pointers during a Yellow Jackets 14-0 run that pushed the lead to 20-9 with 1:50 left in the opening period.
- Georgia Tech capitalized off turnovers for seven unanswered points that extended the lead to, 37-20, with 4:29 left in the half.
- BC countered with a 9-3 stretch, which included two Hughes three-pointers. The Tech lead was, 40-29, with 1:14 to play in the half.
- The Eagles held Georgia Tech scoreless for 3:54 in the third quarter during a 9-2 run, which cut the lead to, 49-40, with 5:41 left in the period. Tech countered with a 7-0 run to go up, 56-40.
- Fasoula scored five points in a BC 12-2 run and the Eagles were down just six points to start the fourth quarter.The Eagles outscored Georgia Tech, 21-13, in the third.
- The Eagles held Tech to no field goals for the final 5:35. A Hughes layup cut the Yellow Jackets lead to 69-65 with 32 seconds left but Georgia Tech sealed it with four free throws to end the game.
