RESULTS
The Boston College women's golf team won the Redbird Invitational, which was played at Weibring Golf Club at Illinois State University on Sunday and Monday afternoon.
HIGHLIGHTS

-Â BC shot at 306 in the first round on Sunday and bounced back with a tournament team-low of 291 in the second 18 later in the day. On Monday, the team shot a 293 to win the tournament by two shots.
- Rookie Lois Kaye Go placed third overall in her collegiate debut. A native of the Phillipines, Go was consistent as she shot a 70-73-71 (214, -2) over three rounds. She had 13 birdies, six in her second round of 18 on Sunday.

- Eagles' sophomore Katie Kim, a native of Illinois, placed tied for ninth place as she finished at +7 (78-73-72-223). Kim's best round was on Monday when she three birdies and had six consecutive pars to finish the round.

- Freshman Marni Murez, a native of California, tied in 17th as she shots a 79-72-75 (227, +11) in her first collegiate competition. Sophomore AIlin Li, a Florida native, placed 19th in the individual competition as she was +12 over three rounds.

-Â Boston College will travel to South Carolina to play in the Golfweek Program Challenge at the Caledonia Golf & Fish Club (Par 70, 6,121 yards) in Pawleys Island.
