BC HIGHILIGHTS
- This is the Eagles third consecutive tournament they have won this fall. Â On Sept. 4-5, BC won the Redbird Invitational in Normal, Illinois. At the Golfweek Challenge Program in Pawley's Island, South Carolina, BC won the event by one stroke.
- Boston College shot a program-low 283 after the first round on Saturday. Katie Kim posted a team-low 69 followed by a 77 from Jocelyn Chia and 71 from Lois Kaye Go.
- All five players placed in the Top 16 to win the event with a +8 (584 over the two days).
- Rookie Lois Kaye Go won the event by shooting a 71 on Saturday followed by a 70 (141) on Sunday. She was -8 over the two day tournament. This is the second straight tournament Go has won as she won the Golfweek Challenge Program Invite. She has not shot over a 72 in her last five rounds of golf (71-72-71 last week, 71-70 this weekend).
- Sophomore Katie Kim had a solid weekend as she placed third overall (+2) in the tournament. She shot a 69 on Saturday followed by a 70 on Sunday.
- Sophomore Ailin Li was eighth at +6, while Jocelyn Chia placed 12th at +7. Junior Katie Barrand placed T16 at +9 over the weekend.
UP NEXT
- The Eagles will take their game to the Yale Invitational on October 7-9 in New Haven, Connecticut.
