The Boston College women's golf team will open up the season at the Redbird Invitational in Norman, Illinois. The tournament, hosted by Illinois State University at the Weibring Golf Club, is a 54-hole event with 36 holes played on Sunday and Monday. Both days begin with a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m.
The Eagles lineup includes junior Katie Barrand, sophomore Katie Kim, sophomore Ailin Li and rookies Lois Kaye and Marni Murez.
Boston College's next tournament will be in Pawleys Island, South Carolina on Sunday, Sept. 11-13 at the Golfweek Program Challenge.
