- Syracuse's Jonathan Hagman broke a scoreless match in the 50th minute when he connected on a blast from 25 yards out.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Boston College took the first three shots of the match but those were the only ones they had in the 90 minutes. Senior Isaac Normesinu took the first shot of the contest in the 16th minute and forced Syracuse's Hendrik Hilpert only save of the match.
- Freshman Younes Boudadi and senior Zeiko Lewis also took shots within the first 39 minutes.
- The Orange scored 4:27 into the second half when Hagman notched his strike. Johannes Pieles earned the assist.
- Syracuse put the game away in the 74th minute when it scored again. Chris Nanco found Kenny Lassiter in the box who put it away to make it a two-goal lead.
