2016-17 Schedule Features 15 Home Games

The Boston College women's basketball team and the Atlantic Coast Conference released the 2016-17 schedule which features 15 home games for the Eagles at Silvio O. Conte Forum.

Tickets for the 2016-17 women's basketball season are on sale now. Season ticket memberships, which include reserved seats, are just $56, while mini-plan and group deposits are also being accepted. BC will play 13 games against teams that played in the 2016 post-season, including Syracuse which advanced to the National Championship game.

"Our team loves a challenge, and our schedule this season will not disappoint. Our tough non-conference slate includes home games against Penn St., St Mary's, and Maine along with road games at Seton Hall and Fordham as well as a Thanksgiving tournament at Colorado,'' said BC Head Coach Erik Johnson. "This will prepare us well to compete in the ACC, the biggest stage in collegiate women's basketball. The ACC is the premier women's basketball conference in the country and affords us the opportunity to compete with the best teams in the country every week. "

The Eagles will travel to Hartford to open the season on November 11. The other non-conference games include Boston University, at Seton Hall, St. Mary's (Calif.), two games at the Omni Invitational hosted by the University of Colorado, and then back home for the ACC-Big Ten Challenge vs. Penn State. Other non-conference games include at Fordham, Yale and home against Providence, Central Connecticut State, Dartmouth and Maine.

Conference action starts as the Eagles will host Clemson on Monday, January 2. The game will air on a regional sports network (NESN) at 7 p.m.

BC will head out on a two-game road trip to Pittsburgh on Thursday, January 5, followed by a Sunday afternoon game on January 8 at Syracuse.

The team returns home to play Georgia Tech on Thursday, January 12, followed by a road game to Virginia on Sunday, Jan. 15. The Eagles will then host Notre Dame on Thursday, January 19 and Duke on Sunday, January 22.

The final two games of January are on the road as Boston College heads to Wake Forest on Thursday, January 26 and off to Miami on Sunday, January 29.

The final month of regular season action, Boston College will play five teams that competed in post season action in 2016. BC will host Florida State on Thursday, February 2 and Syracuse on Sunday, February 5 at Conte Forum and then hit the road to play at North Carolina on Thursday, February 9 followed by a trip to Louisville on Sunday, February 12.

NC State will visit Boston College on February 16 before the Eagles travel to Indiana to play Notre Dame on February 23. The final regular season home game is on Sunday, February 26 as BC hosts Virginia Tech.
