Slate opens with Syracuse on New Year’s Day

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Atlantic Coast Conference has released the 2016-17 men's basketball schedule which features 18 games starting on January 1.
Tickets for the 2016-17 men's basketball season are on sale now. Season ticket memberships start as low as $6 per seat per game. For information on single game and group tickets, visit bceagles.com/tickets, or call 617-552-GoBC (4622) to speak with an account representative.
Boston College opens the ACC portion of its schedule on New Year's Day when it hosts Syracuse at 12:30 p.m.
The Eagles will then spend the next week in North Carolina to play at Wake Forest (Jan. 3) and Duke (Jan. 7) before returning home to host NC State (Jan. 11). BC is then back on the road to face the Orange (Jan. 14) again in the Carrier Dome.
Five of the next seven games will be at Conte Forum beginning with Virginia (Jan. 18) and defending ACC champion North Carolina (Jan. 21). A couple of road games at Miami (Jan. 25) and Virginia Tech (Jan. 29) precede a three-game home stand that features Wake Forest (Jan. 31), Louisville (Feb. 4) and Pittsburgh (Feb. 8).
BC will travel down to Atlanta to face Georgia Tech (Feb. 11) before hosting Notre Dame (Feb. 14) on Valentine's Day.
The Eagles will play three of its final four regular season games on the road beginning with Florida State (Feb. 20) on a Monday. The last home game of the 2016-17 season is against Virginia Tech (Feb. 25).
The regular season concludes with away games at Notre Dame (Mar. 1) and Clemson (Mar. 4).
The ACC Tournament begins on Tuesday, March 7 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn with the championship game being played Saturday night.
