The unbeaten Boston College women's soccer team will travel to Brookline to play Northeastern on Sunday at Parsons Field (1 p.m.). The Eagles have won five consecutive games and are coming off a 3-0 victory over Harvard on Thursday night.
ABOUT NORTHEASTERN
- Northeastern is currently 2-3-1 and seventh in the CAA standings.
- The Huskies are coming off a 3-0 victory over Holy Cross with goals from Hannah Lipiccolo, Hannah Rosenblatt and two goals from Kayla Cappuzzo.
- Providence is the only common opponent between BC and Northeastern thus far this season. The Huskies defeated Providence, 2-1 in double-overtime on Aug. 25. BC defeated the Friars, 4-1, on August, 19.
ABOUT BOSTON COLLEGE
- BC is currently 6-0-1 in non-conference action.
- Boston College will open up ACC play on Sunday, Sept. 18 at Duke. The game will be aired on WatchESPN.

In almost the same fashion, junior defender Madison Kenny sent rookie Olivia Vaughn in alone for her second goal of the season and a 2-0 lead. Berman ended the scoring on her third goal of the year. Alexis Bryant kept the Harvard offense out of the scoring column when she snuffed out a penalty kick in the 80th minute of play. BC now leads the overall series against Harvard, 10-4-2. Since 2005, BC is now 8-0-1 against the Crimson.

- Forward McKenzie Meehan now has 52 career goals and 111 career points. She needs just six points to become the program's all-time leading scorer. Meehan's goal against Harvard was her 17th career game-winning goal. She broke the previous record of 16 held by Brooke Knowlton '11.
- Senior Hayley Dowd has 35 career goals and moved to 10th overall on the all-time scoring list with 80 points.
- Meehan and Dowd are two of the most prolific scorers in the college game today. Meehan is third on NCAA list of active career leaders for goal scorers with 52, while Dowd is 11th with 35 goals. BC is the only school with two players in the top 10.
- Rookie Jenna Bike earned Eagle of the Week honors after scoring one goal and three assists in Sunday's victory over Pacific. Bike is the fifth player in program history to have three or more assists in a game. The program record is four, set by Stephanie McCaffrey on Sept. 1, 2013 against Hofstra. The other players who had three assists in a game include Kristie Mewis '13, Kerri McNicholas '07, Sarah Rahko '04 (twice) and Deidra Byrnes '95.
- The Eagles have started four rookies in the first six games of the season – Jenna Bike, Samantha Hiatt, Jade Ruiters and Kayla Jennings.
- Since Coach Alison Foley's arrival in 1997, the BC women's soccer program is 13-5-2 in season openers. The team has also won the last five season openers, including this year's 2-1 win over Providence.
