BC HIGHLIGHTS
- Freshman Sophia West led the Maroon and Gold in kills (7) while the team leader in digs was sophomore libero Devon Michaelis (19).
- Sophomore Camille Oemcke and freshman Jane DeJarld posted 12 and 13 assists, respectively.
SET 1
The Eagles drew some minor separation from the Bulldogs, leading by as many as three points, but Fresno State battled back to take a 22-20 lead, forcing a BC timeout. The Eagles could not find their groove as the Bulldogs stole the set 25-21.
SET 2
A Julia Topor block to tie the set at eight all gave the Maroon and Gold some momentum after dropping the first set. Although the Eagles were able to build a 15-13 lead and force a Fresno State timeout, the Bulldogs came back to tie the set at 17. After a total of six lead changes, the Bulldogs edged out the victory, 26-24.
SET 3
The Bulldogs carried on from their strong second set by opening the set on a 5-0 run, but the Eagles rallied to tie the set at nine. BC could not muster more than a 16-14 lead before losing three straight points to drop the set, 22-25.

Boston College returns to Power Gym next Friday evening at 7:30 pm to take on the Georgia Bulldogs in the Beantown Challenge.
