COACH'S QUOTE
"It's good to get the first match out of the way. We have pretty basic goals for this in terms of what we wanted to do. For the most part we executed them. There's still some room to do better. You could see it at the beginning of training camp – and its starting to show up here – there's a character of this team about defense that I really like. I think there's really something for us to work with. There's some great potential here."
UP NEXT
The Eagles will be back in Power Gym tomorrow afternoon at 1 p.m. for a rematch against LIU Brooklyn, then will close out the BC Invitational against Fresno State in the nightcap at 7:30 p.m.
