Eagles and Owls will meet in 2018 in Chestnut Hill and 2021 in Philadelphia
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College and Temple today announced a future two-game football series between the two schools.Â

The Eagles and Owls will meet in Chestnut Hill at Alumni Stadium on Sept. 29, 2018, before the series returns to Philadelphia on Sept. 18, 2021.

BC and Temple have met 37 times, with the Eagles holding a 28-7-2 advantage in the series. Most recently, the schools met every season between 1982 and 2004, with the final 14 coming in BIG EAST Conference action.

The first game between the schools was played in 1936 in Boston, the first of seven straight annual meetings. The teams also meet in 1954 in Philadelphia before resuming an annual series in 1971 for five years. The schools also met in 1978 before the annual date resumed in 1982.
