Naumec, Pandelena Earn All-New England Honors

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Freshman Matthew Naumec and senior Nicholas Pandelena have been named to the 2016 Division I All-New England Team, and Naumec was also named the Rookie of the Year.

Naumec led Boston College in five different categories last season. He was tops on the team in scoring (74.35), one-putts (30 percent), par 3 scoring (3.15), par 4 scoring (4.24) and birdies (75). His best round was a final-round 65 (-7) at The Connecticut Cup which provided his best finish in a tournament (T11).

Pandelena also led in five categories, leading the Eagles in scrambling (43 percent), up and downs (55 percent), bunker saves (48 percent), par 4 scoring (4.24) and par 5 scoring (4.85). He was second in scoring average (74.35). Pandelena's best finish was also a T11 at The Connecticut Cup.
