Preview: Rowing Heads To ACC Championships

Eagles seek team victory to earn conference bid to NCAA Championships

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College Rowing team is preparing for their final scheduled meet of the season when they head to Lake Hartwell in Clemson, South Carolina for the ACC Championship events on Friday, May 13 and Saturday, May 14. This is the 17th ACC Rowing Championship. This will be the seventh consecutive year that Clemson has hosted the event and the 14th time overall.

Friday's events will begin at 6 pm with heats for the Third Varsity Eight and will conclude at 7:30 pm with the second heat of the First Varsity Eight events.

Saturday's ACC Petite and Grand Finals will kick off the morning and teams competing in the two events will be decided by the results of the heats on Friday evening. Saturday's 10 events will start at 8:05 am with the final event, the First Varsity Eight Grand Final, taking flight at 9:55 am. The ACC Awards Ceremony will begin at approximately 10:15. All Saturday's events will be broadcasted on ESPN3.
