BC HIGHLIGHTS
- Sophomore Annie Murphy went 2-of-4 with a double. She extends her hitting streak to seven games and has now reached base in nine consecutive games.
- Freshman Allyson Moore was 2-of-3 at the plate with an RBI.
TURNING POINT
- UMass retook the lead in the top of the fifth, capitalizing off a Boston College error.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Minutewomen struck first in the bottom of the first as a two-run home run from Tara Klee opened the game's scoring.
- The Eagles would respond in the fourth inning, as sophomore Jordan Chimento ripped a single to left center that plated junior Tatiana Cortez. Later in the inning, Moore would pull the team even with a single that scored freshman Loren DiEmmanuele.
- UMass would retake the lead in the fifth as Jena Cozza scored off an error from the right fielder.
- The Minutewomen  would extend the lead to 4-2 in the bottom of the sixth with a Kaitlyn Stavinoha double bringing home Dana Barclay.
