The Boston College sailing team had a solid weekend on the water. The Eagles won the Oberg Trophy, finished eight at the President's Trophy and fifth at the BC Central Series.

Oberg Trophy

Results

Northeastern hosted the Oberg Trophy in an inter-conference regatta with three divisions producing scores. The Eagles put together a solid weekend of racing with an 81 in the Division A race, 69 in the B Division and 62 in the C Division for a total of 212 points. Roger Williams placed second with 239 points and Bowdoin was third with 240 points.

The A Division team of Drake Lyon and Emma Perry placed second behind Bowdoin with 81 points. The B Division team of Henry Dumke and Megan Bamford earned first with 69 points, one better than Harvard. Conn College was third with 74 points. In the C Division, Boston College placed first behind Wade Waddell, Peter Lynn and Alice Bohan. The Eagles had 62 points while URI was second with 65 and Roger Williams placed third with 70 points.

President's Trophy

Results

The Eagles placed eighth at the President's Trophy Regatta hosted by Boston University in an inter-conference race. BC posted a 71 in the A Division and an 87 in the B Division for 158 total points. Yale won with 106 points, while Bowdoin was second with 115 points.

The A Division of Isabella Loosbrock and Lily McGrath placed fifth while Caroline Downey and Caroline Rochford placed ninth in the B Division.

BC Central Series

Results

Boston College placed fifth at the BC Central Series hosted by the Eagles at an inter-conference regatta. Tufts (1) won the event with 20 points, while Tufts (2) had 38 points for second place. URI was third with 40 points, and Northeastern posted 50 points for fourth place. BC had 51 points for fifth place.

In the A Division team of Jacob Martz and Tara Ferraris had 30 points for fifth place. Tufts (1) won the division with 10 points. The B Division team of Jake Rizika and Kyla MacLennan placed third with 21 points. Tufts (1) won the event with 10 points while URI had 14 points for second place.
