Eagles Placed Second At Fowle Trophy Regatta

Fowle Trophy Results

Boston College placed second at the Fowle Trophy Regatta this past weekend hosted by Coast Guard. The Eagles went 8-3 in the team competition with wins over Boston University, Bowdoin, Broin, Conn College, Harvard, MIT, Rhode Island and Coast Guard. The only blemishes on the Eagles record this weekend were against Dartmouth, Roger Williams and Yale. Yale won the event with a 10-1 record.

The skippers for the race were Harry Koeppel, Raul Rios and Charlie Sinks while the crew were Hannah Lynn, Tara Ferraris, Allison Ferraris, Katja Sertl, Katherine Downey and Fiona Walsh.

Emily Wick Results

Boston College finished eighth at the Emily Wick Regatta over the weekend. BC had 70 points in the A Division and 75 in the B Division for 145 points. Brown won the event (83) while Boston University was second (109) and St. Mary's of Maryland placed third (120).

In the A Division BC placed fifth behind the tandem of Allyson Donahue and Megan Bamford. Brown won the A Division with 35 points and BU placed second with 36 points. The B Division placed ninth with 75 points behind Lily McGrath and Kyla MacLennan. Stanford won the division with 36 points while Brown was second with 48.

Mystic Lake Results

In the Mystic Lake Team Race as hosted by Tufts over the weekend, Boston College placed sixth with a 5-5 record. Tufts won the event with an 11-1 record while Brown went 9-3 for second place. Dartmouth placed third with a 9-3 record while Roger Williams was fourth with an 8-4 record. Tufts was fifth at 7-5.

Marcos Darcy, Jacob Martz and Jake Rizika were the skippers for the team while Kendall Van Horne, Caroline Rochford and Emma Perry were the crew members.
