Eagles look for first win against Big Green in 13th ever meeting, avenge 2013 NCAA first round loss
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -Â Boston College seeks its first ever win over Ivy League opponent, Dartmouth, when the Big Green come to Newton for a midweek battle on Tuesday. Opening draw is scheduled for 4 p.m.

GAME NOTES:
- This past week, BC held on for a 15-11 victory at Yale before falling at Duke in the team's second to last conference game of the season, 12-8, on Saturday afternoon. In the most recent polls, released Monday, BC fell to No. 19 in the Inside Lacrosse Poll and to one spot to 14 in the Lax Magazine poll. The Eagles are tied for 15th in the IWLCA poll with Ohio State, who both also received 138 points in the voting.
- In the latest statistics, BC is ranked first in the conference and 32nd in the nation with its .458 free position percentage. It is fourth in the ACC in points per game (16.62) and fifth in assists per game (4.46), draw controls per game (13.46) and ground balls per game (15.69). Â The 13.46 draw controls per game is 13th best in the nation.Â
- Molly Erdle's mark of 1.85 CT per game is fourth highest in conference play and 26th across the nation. Until last week, Caroline Margolis' .636 free position percentage was the eighth highest in the nation.Â
- Dartmouth enters the contest holding the 12-0 advantage in the all-time series. The Eagles look to avenge their last loss to the Big Green, an 11-8 defeat in the first round of the 2013 NCAA Tournament, held at the Syracuse University campus. The Big Green are one of only four teams that BC has played multiple times since the program's first year in 1992 that they have yet to defeat. Only Georgetown (0-5), Maryland (0-11) and Temple (0-7) are the other teams that BC hasn't defeated when playing the same opponent more than once. Â
- Entering Tuesday's game with Dartmouth, Zoe Ochoa is three saves shy of eighth place on the program's career save list with 216 stops, currently held by Rachel Zeller's (2001-02) 218 stops, while Sarah Mannelly is two draw controls shy of moving into seventh place in program history. Mannelly currently has 104 career DC's, one shy of Jenna McCabe's 105, garnered between 2006-09.
LAST TIME OUT
- Boston College erased a three goal deficit in the second half to tie the score at seven apiece, but Duke scored four of the five remaining goals and went on to win, 12-8, Saturday afternoon in Durham, N.C.
NEXT UP
- The Eagles have two remaining home games left on the schedule. They will take on Virginia Tech this Saturday, April 16, at 11:30 am. at the Newton Campus Lacrosse Field for what will be the team's final conference game ahead of the ACC Tournament, which begins April 28 on the Virginia Tech campus. Following a midweek game at Harvard on April 20, the team will participate in its final match of the year against Johns Hopkins, at home on April 23. In that final game, the team will honor its six seniors who will be graduating in May from Boston College.
