Demon Deacons sweep singles and doubles
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The No. 9 Wake Forest men's tennis team defeated Boston College, 7-0, on Friday afternoon at the Wake Forest Tennis Complex.
The Demon Deacons started the match by taking the doubles point against three new BC doubles tandems. The new No. 3 pairing of Kent Mukai and Aidan McNulty pushed their match to a tie-break before falling.
Led by a pair of ranked players in singles, Wake took all six matches in straight sets to close out the match.
BC (3-7, 0-2 ACC) returns to action on Sunday, March 13, when they host No. 39 Virginia Tech at the Flynn Recreation Complex at noon.
