Eagles fall in third ACC match

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The 39th-ranked Virginia Tech men's tennis team defeated Boston College, 7-0, on Sunday afternoon at the Flynn Complex.

The Hokies (9-3, 2-1 ACC) took the early 1-0 lead after capturing the doubles point with victories on the Nos. 1 and 3 courts before winning all six singles matches in straight sets.

Boston College (3-8, 0-3 ACC) return to the courts next weekend when they host No. 74 Miami on Friday, March 18 at Dedham Health and Athletic Complex (Dedham, Mass.) and No. 51 Florida State on Sunday, March 20, at the Flynn Recreation Complex on campus.
