- Boston College (13-8, 1-7 ACC) returns home after a two-game road swing. The Eagles will now start a two-game home series as they host No. 16/20 Miami on Thursday followed by North Carolina on Sunday.
- The Eagles are coming off its third consecutive close game. The Eagles lost, 62-56, on Sunday despite 23 points from rookie Mariella Fasoula.
- Miami comes to BC for the first time since the 2013-14 season when BC defeated the Hurricanes, 63-62. Miami is coming off a tough loss at home to Syracuse on Monday. The Cuse needed a key rebound and put back by Briana Day with 45 seconds to pull away from the Hurricanes, 57-51. Adrienne Motley led Miami with 16 points and four rebounds.
- Rookie Mariella Fasoula, who has won the ACC ROW twice, was named Eagle of the Week on Tuesday. The first-year center averaged 20.5 points and 5.5 rebounds in two games last week. She also shot .594 from the field (19-for-35) in those contests. Fasoula is the highest scoring rookie in the ACC action (15.9 ppg.) She is also 18th in the country and fifth in the ACC in field goal percentage.
- Senior Nicole Boudreau has moved into the eighth spot on BC's all-time list for assists with 316. She is 10th on the all-time steals list with 148.
- Martina Mosetti, Kelly Hughes and Nicole Boudreau are the only three players on the roster to start every game this season.

- On Feb. 4, 2010, Boston College upset then sixth-ranked Duke, 61-57, at Conte Forum. Carolyn Swords '11 had 14 points and nine boards, while Mickel Picco '10 added 12 points and Stefanie Murphy '11 pitched in with six points and eight boards, along with three assists. The Eagles out-rebounded Duke, 42-33, and forced the Blue Devils into 20 turnovers.
