King, Trivigno Named Eagles of the Week

Pair honored for performances last week
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Junior RHP Mike King (baseball) and senior forward Dana Trivigno (women's hockey) have been named Eagles of the Week.
King opened the 2016 baseball season with a seven-inning, one-hit performance on Friday night against Northern Illinois. He did not allow a walk and struck out six as the Eagles cruised to a 5-1 victory. King retired 21 of the 24 batters he faced and allowed just three baserunners on the day, none advancing past second base.

Trivigno was named Hockey East player of the week for the first time in her career after notching six points in a two-game sweep of Providence. She had a four-point night in Friday night's 7-1 win at home, scoring twice and adding an assist, before chipping in a pair of helpers on Saturday in the team's 9-1 road win to cap the first-ever perfect conference season in Hockey East history, men or women.Â

Baseball (4-0) will play three games in the Snowbird Classic this weekend in Florida. Women's hockey (34-0-0, 24-0-0 HEA) will host Maine this weekend in the quarterfinals of the Hockey East Tournament. Game one is Friday at 2 p.m.
