Women Finish Strong at ACC Championships

Virginia captures ninth straight title
This weekend concluded the season for BC's women's swim and dive teams. The ladies traveled to Greensboro, N.C. where all teams in the ACC gathered for the championship meet. The Eagles were represented by Caroline Quindlen, Maureen Barron, Jordan Parry, Grace Kunkel, Marina Vranos, Corinne Larkin, Gabriella Taghian, Elizabeth Manning, Madeline Mailliard, Amanda Bieler, Hope Dragelin, Mary Fitzsimmons, Erika Freeman, Emily Mann, Abigail Kordell, Danielle Homere, Katherine Karle, Alison McDonough, Maria Russo, Emily Smith, Caroline Even, and Julie Dobson. In addition to the women's championships, this weekend was also the men's diving championship meet, where the Eagles were represented by Cole Malatesta, Jack McCarthy and Robert McCrory. After four days of competition, Virginia claimed their 9th straight win of the ACC Championships and BC finished in 12th place overall, defeating Clemson.

BC Highlights
- Maureen Barron finished  the 100 yd. breaststroke in 31st place with a time of 1:04.74, defeating her previous best time of 1:05.35 from the BU meet in January
- The 200 yd. medley relay team of Caroline Quindlen, Maureen Barron, Jordan Parry and Grace Kunkel came in 12th place with a time of 1:45.22
- Madeline Mailliard came in 40th place in the 200 yd. backstroke with a time of 2:03.99
- Hope Dragelin, Julie Dobson, Mary Fitzsimmons, Erika Freeman, Katherine Karle, Maria Russo and Gabriella Taghian represented this year's freshman at ACC's and demonstrated strong competition and promise for next season
- Cole Malatesta came in 19th place in the men's 3 m. diving with a score of 306.00
