Borr, Sweeting Win Two as Eagles Snap Skid at Cornell

Both Eagles win their singles and doubles matches to lead the Eagles to a 4-3 win on the road
ITHACA, N.Y. – Junior Lexi Borr won both her doubles and singles matches to help lead the No. 49 Boston College women's tennis team to a 4-3 road win at Cornell on Sunday. The win snapped BC's three-match skid.
Wan-Yi Sweeting's three-set singles win on the No. 5 court secured the win for the Eagles after Cornell drew even at 3-3 with her match left to finish. She also paired with Asiya Dair to take the deciding win in doubles on the No. 3 court.
The Eagles return to action on Friday, Feb. 26, when they host No. 32 Notre Dame in an ACC match at Dedham Health & Athletic Complex. The match is set to start at 5 p.m.
