Cuse Sweeps Eagles in ACC Action

No. 3 doubles takes lone match victory of the day
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – No. 62 Syracuse swept the No. 48 Boston College women's team, 7-0, on Saturday afternoon in an ACC match.
After taking the doubles point by winning the No. 1 and No. 2 courts, the Orange won all six singles matches.
The Eagles' lone match victory on the day came in the No. 3 doubles court where Asiya Dair and Wan-Yi Sweeting teamed to top Syracuse's duo of Nicole Mitchell and Maria Tritou, 6-3.
The singles matches were all straight-set Cuse wins, except the No. 1 court where Lexi Borr pushed the match to three sets, falling 10-4 in the final set.
The Eagles return to the court tomorrow, Sunday, Feb. 21, when the team visits Cornell for a 10:30 a.m. match in Ithaca, N.Y.
