ABOUT BC
- Boston College is in the midst of a seven game losing streak. The Eagles are currently 13-12 overall and 1-11 in the ACC. BC is coming off a tough home loss to Virginia, 61-50, on Sunday afternoon. The Eagles were led Mariella Fasoula with 14 points. No other Eagle scored in double-figures.
- Clemson is currently 0-12 in the ACC and 4-12 overall. The Tigers lost at Georgia Tech on Sunday, 77-48. MaKayla Johnson scored a career-high 12 points and grabbed six rebounds, while Victoria Cardaci knocked down three three-pointers.
- Mariella Fasoula continues to be one of the top rookies in the ACC. The 6-foot-4 center leads all ACC rookies in scoring and she is fourth in the conference in field goal percentage. Fasoula leads BC along with junior Kelly Hughes in scoring with a 14 point per game average. She has scored in double-figures in 19 games, including 11 consecutive.
- Senior Nicole Boudreau tied a program record when she hit eight three's vs. UNC. She finished with 26 points and eight assists. She moved into second on the all-time three's made list at BC and now is eight away from breaking the program record of 252.
- Junior Kelly Hughes leads BC in scoring (14.0 ppg.) and rebounding (5.9 rpg.). She has posted four double-doubles and has led the team in scoring and rebounding in 11 games.
- The Eagles are 7-0 at home in non-conference play and 1-5 in ACC action at Conte Forum. On the road, BC is 4-0 in non-conference play but 0-6 in conference.

- The Boston College women's basketball team fell to ACC foe Virginia, 61-50, on Sunday afternoon at Conte Forum. Rookie Mariella Fasoula finished with a team-high 14 points and grabbed five rebounds.
- BC opened the fourth quarter on a 14-2 run sparked by a traditional three-point play by Kailey Edwards. The Eagles cut the lead to just six points. The teams exchanged baskets and after Fasoula hit a layup, BC called a time out with 1:12 to play and down, 57-50., Edwards stole the ball on the inbounds but a jumper by Emilee Daley rolled out of the hoop and UVA grabbed the board. The Eagles could not close the gap in the final moments of the game.
BC vs. CLEMSON
- This will be the 13th meeting between BC and Clemson. The Eagles hold an, 8-4, edge in the overall series.
- The Eagles are 5-1 at home and 3-2 when playing at Clemson.
- BC defeated Clemson, 68-53, last season on Feb. 5. Five players scored in double figures with Ashley Kelsick, Katie Quandt and Marti Mosetti leading the way with 14 points apiece. Emilee Daley had 13 points and nine rebounds in the win.
- Prior to the 2015 season, BC had lost to Clemson in 2013 and 2014.
