CARPENTER'S RECORD-SETTING AWARD HAUL IN HEA
Eight different times this season, Alex Carpenter has been tabbed Hockey East's player of the week - the league's record in a single season ... she's also a two-time conference player of the month this year ... in her career, Carpenter has nabbed a conference-record 20 player of the week recognitions, not including her two rookie of the week awards in 2011-12.
CONFERENCE WIN RECORD MATCHED ...
Boston College returns to league action on Friday with a 20-0-0 record in conference play, having already tied the Hockey East record for league wins in a season ... two teams have collected 20 conference wins before: first New Hampshire did it in 2007-08 going 20-0-1, before BC did it last year in 2014-15, also going 20-0-1.
... OPPORTUNITY TO SET A NEW RECORD
With four more league games on the schedule, Boston College has the opportunity to establish a new Hockey East record for conference wins in a season ... the two teams that previously reached the 20-win mark played 21-game conference seasons ... however, this year - following Merrimack's entry into Hockey East - league members now have 24 conference games on the docket.

- Katie Burt has 11 shutouts in 25 starts, while Gabri Switaj has one in five starts

BC is 7-4-1 against the Huskies in the Beanpot and 1-2-0 in the HEA Tournament ... the teams have met twice in the Hockey East Tournament, with the Eagles claiming their only HEA Tournament title in 2011 with a championship-game win over Northeastern .... in 2013, NU topped BC in the semifinals
- Head coach Katie Crowley has a 26-5-3 career mark against the Huskies
EAGLES vs. THE HUSKIES
Alex Carpenter is the Eagles' active leading scorer against Northeastern with 21 points (8g, 13a) in 15 career games ... she is 1-3-4 this season in three games ... Carpenter shares the BC career lead in assists vs. NU with Kelli Stack '11

- Andie Anastos: 3-9-12 in 11 games
- Lexi Bender: 0-12-12 in 16 games
- Kristyn Capizzano: 4-6-10 in 11 games

- Katie Burt is 5-0-0 with a 1.00 goals against average and a .961 save percentage ... she also has one shutout
KELLER BRUISING FROM THE BLUELINE
Megan Keller has been a rock at the blue line this season, anchoring the Eagles' back line ... defensively, she's helped steady the Eagles defense that has allowed just 1.17 goals per game - third-best in the country - and held opponents to one or fewer goals in 19 of 30 games with 12 shutouts ... offensively, she's collected 39 points (12g, 27a), third on the team and tops nationally among all defensemen ... also, she's a 50 on the season, tied for the best mark on the team and the best mark among all defensemen in the country.
KELLER KICKING DOWN D SCORING RECORDS
Megan Keller's jump from her freshman to sophomore year has been amazing for the Eagles ... as a freshman, she helped BC to its best-ever record at 34-3-2 while recording 24 points (4g, 20a) in 37 games and making her debut with the U.S. Women's National Team ... however, as a sophomore, Keller has dominated along the blueline - both offensively and defensively ... BC is now a perfect 30-0-0 on the year, allowing just 1.17 goals per game and matched its season shutout record (12).
Personally, Keller:
- Has posted 39 points (12g, 27a) in just 30 games to lead all defenders nationally ... her 27 assists are tied for ninth nationally - among all players, not just defensemen
- Is just three points back of Emily Pfalzer's school-record 42 points by a defenseman in a season, which she set in 2014-15 as she led the nation in DMan scoring
- Has scored the second-most goals by a BC defenseman in a season in school history (17, Genevieve Missirlian 1997-98)
- Has recorded the second-most assists by a BC defenseman in a single season in program history (34, Pfalzer in 2014-15)
- Is already ranked seventh in BC defenseman career scoring chart (63 points on 16 goals and 47 assists) after just 67 games ... her 16 goals are ranked fifth among all Eagle defensemen and her 47 assists are seventh
DEFENSE SHUTTING DOWN OPPONENTS' LANES ...
Boston College's defense has allowed just 610 shots on goal this season, the sixth-lowest mark nationally and the fewest in Hockey East (New Hampshire is second with 783, 15th nationally) ... the team's 20.33 shots allowed per game is sixth-fewest nationally ... BC has held opponents under 20 shots in 15 of 30 games ... in seven of the last nine games, Eagles' opponents have failed to hit the 20-shot mark.
... BUT EAGLES OPENING THEM UP
While BC's defense has been on lock-down much of the season, the team's offense has been high-flying ... the Eagles lead the nation in goals (161 - 19 more than the next closest team), goals per game (5.37), goal differential ( 4.20), shots on goal (1,275) and shots on goal per game (42.50).
GAMERS GETTING WINNERS
A pair of BC seniors lead the national charts in game-winning goals this season ... Alex Carpenter and Haley Skarupa each have notched seven game-winning goals, sharing the national lead in the category ... Skarupa, in fact, has recorded three game-clinching goals in the team's last five games ... Carpenter owns the BC career record for GWGs with 26, while Skarupa is third with 21.
TRIVIGNO'S CAREER YEAR
Dana Trivigno is making the most of her senior season ... one of the Eagles' captains, Trivigno has posted 36 points on 13 goals and a career-best 23 assists so far this year - her highest output at The Heights ... her previous high was 34 points (15g, 19a) as a junior in 2014-15.
TIP OF THE HAT
BC players have recorded eight hat tricks this season ... Alex Carpenter (4), Haley Skarupa (2), Makenna Newkirk (1) and Dana Trivigno (1) have all potted at least three goals in a game this season ... the Eagles' eight hat tricks are tied for second-most in program history, and the most in 18 seasons:
| Rank | BC Hat Tricks | Seasons |
| 1. | 10 | 1995-96 |
| 2. | 8 | 2015-16, 1997-98, 1996-96 |
| 5. | 6 | 2012-13, 1998-99 |
