Miano To Miss Second Semester

Eagles' defenseman will be unavailable
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Toni Ann Miano will be unavailable to the Boston College women's hockey team during its 2016-17 second-semester schedule.
The junior defenseman will miss the second half of the season because of a violation of team policies. She will be eligible to return when the team begins preparations for the 2017-18 season in September.
Sixth-ranked Boston College (12-3-3, 10-2-1 HEA) will return to the ice on Wednesday, Jan. 4, when the team hosts Syracuse at Kelley Rink at 4 p.m. The Eagles closed the first half of the season atop the Hockey East standings with a five-point lead and have a six-game undefeated streak (5-0-1) headed into the New Year.
