A trio of current Boston College players had a very, very busy week. In addition to the Eagles' midweek win at Dartmouth on Wednesday, juniors Katie Burt, Kali Flanagan and Megan Keller also had to re-schedule all of their finals - originally scheduled to start this Wednesday - to last week.
The threesome departs for Plymouth, Mich., on Sunday to meet up with Team USA at its winter training camp at USA Hockey Arena. The four-day camp will run Monday through Thursday before the roster is announced on Friday for the two-game series against Canada, which will be played Saturday, Dec. 17, in Plymouth and Monday, Dec. 19, in Sarnia, Ontario.
Burt, Flanagan and Keller were especially busy all week, ensuring that their academic requirements were met before departing for the 37-player camp where they'll meet up with six other past and future Eagles: Cayla Barnes '21, Alex Carpenter '16, Emily Pfalzer '15, Haley Skarupa '16, Kelli Stack '11 and Dana Trivigno '16.
Burt and Flanagan sat down right before departing Kelley Rink for the semester to speak about attending camp, as well as what it means to go into camp with so many familiar faces.
