Boston College seniors Barbara Gonzalez, Madisen Lydon, Anna Skold, and Julia Topor were honored in their last home match as Eagles on Sunday.

BC HIGHLIGHTS
- Seniors Barbara Gonzalez, Madisen Lydon, Anna Skold, and Julia Topor were honored before the match, making their last appearances as Eagles in front of the home crowd in Power Gym.
- Freshman Jill Strockis had a team-high of 9 kills for the Eagles, while Skold was the team leader in hitting percentage with .417 after notching 6 kills on 12 total attempts.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Set 1
The Eagles fell behind, 5-2, after Pittsburgh won three straight points to break a 2-2 tie. The Panthers kept tacking onto their lead, using another run of 4-0, featuring three kills from three different players, to lead 10-4. Following a 3-0 Pitt run, the Eagles called timeout trailing 8-14, and were forced to call their second soon after, trailing 11-18. Following the timeout, BC won three straight to cut the Pitt lead to four at 18-14, as a Jill Strockis ace forced the Panthers to call timeout. BC got within two points on six different occasions, but couldn't pull ahead and dropped the set, 25-22.
Set 2
BC fought back from 4-2 down to lead 5-4, but the Panthers embarked on a 6-1 run to lead 10-6, forcing the Eagles to call timeout. The teams kept exchanging points until the Panthers won two straight to lead 19-13. The Panthers maintained the lead from there, winning the final four points to take the set, 25-15.
Set 3
The Eagles pulled ahead early, 3-1, after Strockis and Skold kills and a Lydon ace. Pitt reclaimed the lead at 6-5 following its own 3-0 run, then another impressive run of 13-0 pulled the Panthers ahead, 19-7. The Maroon and Gold couldn't recover and fell, 25-16.

The Eagles will wrap up the 2016 campaign on the road, heading to South Bend for a match against Notre Dame on Wednesday (7 p.m.) and will go on to Louisville after the Thanksgiving holiday on Friday (7 p.m.).
