Burke, Eagles Wrap Up Season at NCAA and IC4A Championships

Boston College sophomore Sean Burke participated at the 2016 NCAA Cross-Country Championships in Terre Haute, Indiana, on Saturday, while other members of the men's cross-country team took to Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx, N.Y., for the 2016 IC4A Championships.

- Sophomore Sean Burke capped off a stellar cross-country season at the 2016 NCAA Cross-Country Championships in Terre Haute, Indiana. Burke, the first BC male to run at the NCAA Championships since 2008, crossed the line in 102^nd place overall with his time of 30:52.9. Burke topped off a season that featured him as the top BC finisher in every race he participated in.

BC HIGHLIGHTS
- Senior Michael Stephens paced the Eagles, taking home 26^th place overall with his finish of 26:48.
- Not far behind him was sophomore Benjamin Osipow, who placed 29^th overall after crossing the line in 26:52.
- Rounding out the top three finishers for the Eagles was freshman Ryan Scanlon who finished the race in 27:03, good for 36^th place overall.
- The Eagles' performance earned them 6^th place as a team with a total of 174 points, bettering Iona and St. Francis (N.Y.)
