Fall Lacrosse Season Kicks off this Weekend

Women's lacrosse will be headed down to Maryland to kick off the 2016-17 lacrosse season
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College Eagles women's lacrosse team is set to kick off its 2016 fall season this weekend as the team heads to the Maryland Play Day in College Park, Md.
The event will include Boston College, Towson University, Virginia and host team University of Maryland.
On Saturday the Eagles will compete in exhibition games against Towson at 11 a.m. and then take on Maryland at 1 p.m.Â
Following the action on Saturday, the Eagles will head to Loyola (Md.) for two more exhibition games in Baltimore on Sunday against Loyola at 10:15 a.m. and Penn State at 11:35 a.m.
To finish off the short fall season, the Eagles will host a Play Day of their own on Saturday, Oct. 15, when they welcome Boston University, Army and Vermont to Newton. The Eagles will get in plenty of work as they will take on all three visiting teams throughout the day.
