Swim and dive teams left Bridgewater State with a pair of victories.

Friday, October 21

The women's swim and dive team defeated Bridgewater State University, 179-84, while the men's team earned a win, 163.5-108.5 in a road meet.

The ladies started off on a strong note taking first, second and third in the 200 yd. medley relay clocking in at 1:54.46, 1:56.37 and 1:58.06.
Rookie Taylor Griffin took first in the 1000 yd. freestyle with time of 10:37.65, followed by teammate Christian Gillette in second at 11:24.64.
Laura Packer, Megan Fuqua and Hanna Hunstad went one-two-and-three in the 200 yd. freestyle, clocking in at 2:01.31, 2:07.27 and 2:08.51.
Freshman Dakota Meyer took first place in the 50 yd. breaststroke with a time of 33.03.
Freshmen Maxwell Threlkeld and Evan O'Mara took first and second in the 50 yd. freestyle at 22.71 and 23.36.
Bret Bonzell came in first in the 50 yd. butterfly with a time of 24.98.

Heading into the weekend, the Eagles will travel to the compete against University of Illinois - Chicago on Friday October 28th, and the University of Chicago on Saturday October 29th.
