BC HIGHLIGHTS
- Four Boston College golfers finished in the top 15. No other team had more than two in the top 15.
- Sophomore Matthew Naumec (72-71-74—217) tied for first with St. John's Gerry Mackedon at 1, but lost in a playoff for the runner-up finish. It would have been his second win in as many tournaments.
- Naumec's second-round 71 was one of just four scores under par among the top six finishers.
- Freshman Brendan Ridge nearly notched a top 10, finishing T11 at 7 (73-75-75—223).
- Junior Patrick Hallisey (77-71-76—224) and freshman Christian Cavaliere (77-73-74—224) both finished T15 at 8.
- Hallisey tied for second in the field with 14 pars while Cavaliere tied for second in par 3 scoring at even.
- Senior Patrick Oleksak was the other Eagle in the field and finished at T68 after shooting 20 (81-76-79—236).
UP NEXT
This was the final tournament in the fall season for the Eagles. They open the championship season on February 13 at the Pizza Hut Pat Hicks Invitational hosted by Southern Utah.
