Sunday Sweep Supported by Borr's 4-0 mark

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The No. 48 Boston College women's tennis team earned a pair of non-conference victories on Sunday, topping Massachusetts 5-2 in the morning and Albany 7-0 in the afternoon. Both matches were played at the Flynn Recreation Complex on the BC campus.

No. 47 Lexi Borr went a combined 4-0 on the day, taking two wins at both No. 1 doubles – with partner Jackie Urbinati – and at No. 1 singles. Asiya Dair, Katya Vasiliyev, Emily Safron and Urbinati all picked up three combined wins.

The wins pushed the Eagles' winning streak to three matches.

The Eagles return to action on Friday, Feb. 15, when the face Portland in a match that will be played at Harvard's Murr Tennis Center, before hosting Dartmouth at Dedham Health and Fitness on Saturday, Feb. 16.
