Kelly, Trivigno Named Eagles of the Week

Pair honored for performances last week

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Seniors Dan Kelly (men's swimming) and Dana Trivigno (women's hockey) have been named Eagles of the Week.

Kelly won four events and broke four records at the Dartmouth Invite last weekend. Kelly and his teammates won both the 200 freestyle and 200 medley relays with Dartmouth Invite records. Kelly also won two individual events - the 50 and 100-yard freestyles. His 20.26 in the 50 free and his 45.15 in the 100 freestyle were both meet records.

Trivigno tallied five points over the weekend, including a four-point day in the 6-2 win over Vermont on Friday. She matched her career-high with three assists in the game and notched one goal in each game. BC swept Vermont and moved to 26-0-0 on the season, the longest winning streak in program history and the second-longest in NCAA history.

Swimming & diving has meets against Providence and Boston University this weekend. Women's hockey (26-0-0, 18-0-0 WHEA) is at Merrimack on Tuesday night.
