Turner Picks Up Win vs. No. 32 Harvard

BOSTON - The Boston College men's tennis team opened the 2016 spring season with a 6-1 loss to No. 32 Harvard on Saturday evening.

The Eagles claimed their lone point on the day in the No. 6 singles spot where Will Turner topped Xavier Gonzalez.

The doubles tandem of Kent Mukai and Jeffrey Melvin captured one of the three doubles matches, topping the duo of Michael Peters and Jean Thirouin, 6-2, in the No. 3 match.

The Eagles return to action this Saturday, Jan. 23, when the team hosts Hartford at the Dedham Health & Athletic Complex. First serve is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
