Monmouth Win Highlights Three-Match Weekend

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Boston College men's tennis team went 1-2 in three matches played at Yale this weekend. BC captured a 4-2 win over Monmouth before falling 4-3 to Buffalo and 5-2 to the host Bulldogs.

The Eagles' No. 2 doubles tandem of Alexandre Thirouin and Aidan McNulty went 3-0 on the weekend, helping the Eagles claim the double point in two-of-three matches.

At No. 1 singles, Hank Workman went 2-1 on the weekend, capturing victories over Yale's Martin Svenning and Buffalo's Amar Hromic, both in three sets.

Boston College (1-3) has almost a month off until its next dual meet. On Monday, Feb. 22, the Eagles will head down I-95 and face Brown at 4:30 p.m.
