           The Eagles' began their spring semester with a trip to Rhode Island for the Sorlein Memorial Invitational. The Eagles' looked to set the tempo for the rest of the indoor season with a strong performance today.

           The Eagles' began their spring semester with a trip to Rhode Island for the Sorlein Memorial Invitational. The Eagles' looked to set the tempo for the rest of the indoor season with a strong performance today.

BC Highlights
- BC finished second at the meet, collecting 107 points, trailing only URI (253 pts.), but placing higher than Providence, Bryant and UMass Dartmouth.
- Senior captain Carly Daniel set a personal record in the 60 meter preliminaries, eventually finishing second overall. Her time, 7.88, is a BC top-5 all-time mark.
- Freshmen Paige Duca and Elizabeth Knoll started their track careers off to a hot start. Duca ran a PR in the 1,000 meters, earning herself second place with a time of 2:56.70. Knoll, tying her personal record, took first place in the high jump at 1.70 meters and qualified for both the ECAC and ACC Championships.
- The 4x800 squad (Erica Hefnawy, Vivian Grimes, Julia Gregory, Molly McCabe) won their event with a time of 9:11.43, qualifying for the ECAC Championships.
- Juniors' Amanda Rickert and Danna Levin provided strong performances in the 3,000 meters. Rickert finished second at 10:15.71. Levin finished close behind in third place with a time of 10:18.78.
- The Eagles' have a quick turnaround with a meet tomorrow morning against Brown, Harvard, Stonehill, and UMass.Â
