BC HIGHLIGHTS

Redshirt freshman Alexis Bryant was solid in goal as she had five saves and was aggressive around the box all night. She is now 3-2-1 on the season.
Junior forward Hayley Dowd scored her sixth goal of the season to tie the match.
Freshman midfielder Shea Newman had the game-tying assist on Hayley Dowd's goal. It was her first collegiate point.
The back line of Coco Woeltz, Madison Meehan, Madison Kenny and Lauren Bernard were strong all night, and held one of the ACC's most potent offenses to just one goal.

"We are still undefeated in the ACC, so we are happy about that,'' said coach Alison Foley. "They're good. They're very good so a point ... do we always want to win home games? For sure. When you play teams at the moment that are ahead of you, you have to be satisfied.''
HOW IT HAPPENED

Duke struck in the 39^th minute when Christina Gibbons flew down the left side and into the top of the box. She crossed the ball to the top of the box to Rebecca Quinn. Quinn placed a shot from 20 yards out to the left of BC goalkeeper Alexis Bryant. Bryant dove but the ball trickled through her out-stretched hands for a 1-0 Duke lead.
The Eagles tied the game in the 50th on a goal by Hayley Dowd. Dowd got on the end of a long ball between two Duke defenders send in by Shea Newman. Dowd ripped a one-timer from 16 yards out into the far corner to tie the match, 1-1.
