The Eagles' former head coach has a message for fans at Friday night's game
Former Boston College football head coach Tom O'Brien was joined by many members of the 2005 team on Friday night for the Florida State game. The team was recognized on-field on the 10th anniversary of the Eagles' first game in the Atlantic Coast Conference - Sept. 17, 2005, also against the Seminoles. O'Brien wanted to share a message with the Boston College fans below.

On behalf of Mathias Kiwanuka, Pat Ross and the other members of the 2005 BC Eagles team, I would like to thank Brad Bates, Steve Addazio, Barry Gallup, Jill Hegarty and all those involved with organizing the reunion at Friday night's game. The reception we received from the start to finish was incredible.
Although it was not the result we hoped for, Coach Addazio's team fought hard and did BC proud. We wish them continued success. Go Eagles!
