- BC held a 10-3 advantage in shots and a 5-1 edge in corner kicks.
TURNING POINT
Davock made a great individual effort at the top left corner of the box and his shot hit the side netting in the 68th minute to give Boston College a 1-0 lead.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The pace was slow early as each side only took one shot in the first 20 minutes. Junior Zeiko Lewis got the first quality chance when he stole an errant pass and took it downfield. His first shot was blocked and the ball deflected to the left. He got to it again but the Quinnipiac keeper made the save.
- A couple of minutes later, senior Atobra Ampadu had a great look at goal after nice passing in the midfield, but his blast sailed high of the crossbar and the two teams were scoreless at the half.
- Davock scored the game's only goal in the 68th minute when he beat a defender on the left side and then sailed a perfectly placed shot into the right side netting.
- The Eagles had a couple of more quality chances but then Quinnipiac flipped the field and had to be held off in the last 15 minutes for the clean sheet.
