Two Golfers Named to All-America Scholar Team

John Jackopsic and Nicholas Pandelena were named to the Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholar Division 1 team today as announced by the GCAA. The total of 206 players in Division 1 earned the honor.
To be eligible for Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholar status an individual must be a junior or senior academically, compete in at least three full years at the collegiate level, participate in 50-percent of his team's competitive rounds, have a stroke-average under 76.0 in Division I and maintain a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at his college or university.
Jackopsic, a native of West Hartford, just qualified for the The US Amateur Championship which will take place in August in Chicago, Illinois. He graduated from Boston College in May of 2015 with a degree in communications from the Morrissey College of Arts & Science.
Pandelena will be a senior at Boston College in September. He is a native of Atkinson, New Hampshire and is working on a degree from the Carroll School of Management.
