CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- The Boston College men's basketball team has released the non-conference portion of its 2015-16 schedule which will feature eight home games at Conte Forum.
The season opens with three games at Conte beginning on Saturday, November 14 with St. Francis Brooklyn. The Eagles follow that by hosting Central Connecticut State (Nov. 19) and Harvard (Nov. 22). Boston College snapped a six-game losing streak against the Crimson with a 64-57 overtime win last season.
BC will then travel to California for three games in the Wooden Legacy over Thanksgiving weekend. The strong field consists of Arizona, Boise State, Evansville, Michigan State, Providence, Santa Clara and UC Irvine.
The Eagles return home to host Penn State (Dec. 2) in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge and UMass Lowell (Dec. 6) in Conte Forum. BC's one true non-conference road game will be at Providence (Dec. 9) in a non-bracketed game of the Wooden Legacy. The non-conference schedule concludes with a home game against New Hampshire (Dec. 30).
The complete ACC schedule will be released in August, but BC will face Syracuse, Notre Dame, Clemson and North Carolina twice next season. Other home games include Florida State, Miami, Georgia Tech, Duke and Virginia Tech.
The Eagles' road opponents will be Wake Forest, NC State, Virginia, Louisville and Pittsburgh.
