Men's Hockey Incoming Class: Meet Chris Brown

Incoming forward Chris Brown will be one of six new forwards on the 2015-16 edition of the men's hockey team starting this fall after spending last year with a pair of clubs in the United States Hockey League (USHL).
The Bloomfield Hills, Mich., native started the 2014-15 season with the Green Bay Gamblers before a trade sent him to the Tri-City Storm towards the latter part of the year. Brown notched 13 goals and 19 assists with Green Bay before five helpers in 15 games for Tri-City.
The 6-foot-0 forward also played four seasons at Cranbrook Kingswood and captained the team as a senior in 2013-14.
The newcomer is one of three incoming Eagles to already have been drafted as the Michigander was selected by the Buffalo Sabres in the sixth round (151st) of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.
Brown comes from a long line of Eagle lineage, starting with his brother, Patrick, who was captain of Boston College in 2013-14. Along with his oldre brother, his uncle, Greg, is the current associate head coach of the Eagles while his father, Doug, played 15 seasons in the National Hockey League. Both of Brown's parents, Maureen and Doug, are Boston College graduates.
