Women's Sailing Wins Reed Trophy

Reed Trophy
Boston College women's sailing team won the Reed Trophy on April 26, which qualifies the team for the Women's National in Newport in June.
The combination of Erika Reineke and Elizabeth Barnard led the A Division with 73 points. Allyson Donahue and Emily Schalka competed in the B Division and placed third with 88 points.
George E Morris Trophy
At the 2015 George E. Morris Trophy Regatta, Boston College placed fourth in the event hosted by Boston University. Vermont won the event with 56 points, while Dartmouth was second with 83. Tufts finished third with 89 points followed by BC with 94.
The A Division team of Ryan Schmitz and Lily McGrath placed fifth with 44 points, while Domenic Bove and Kaitlin Driscoll placed 5th in the B Division with 44 points.
80th Boston Dinghy Cup
Boston College placed 10th at the 80th Boston Dingy Cup this weekend hosted by MIT on the Charles River. Stanford won the event for the second consecutive season. Charles Sinks and Allison Ferraris placed fifth in the A Division for BC with 66 points. In the B Division, Harry Koeppel and Katherine Downey placed seventh with 61 points, just one point from a fifth place finish. Maxwell Simmons and Kyla MacLennan tallied 119 points in the C Division. . The last C Division race was discarded as there was not enough of a breeze to get matching B and A Division races completed.
